There are three gathering professions available to players in Rift Power Leveling.

Butchery
Butchery is the gathering Profession that allows one to collect hides and other useful parts from the creatures of Telara and crafts them into various sorts of Leather. Butchering pairs exceedingly well with the Outfitting profession, but is also helpful for Armorsmithing and Apothecary.
A Butchery trainer can only teach you recipes and profession grades up to his own Butchery grade. This means a Novice Butcher NPC will be unable to teach you a recipe for which the Skilled Butcher profession grade is required.
Requirements for Butchers
For their profession butchers need to have a dead beast. These can be butchered to gain Hides and other valuable Ingredients.
Leveling Butchering: Freemarch lvl 1 – 45, Silverwood lvl 1 – 45, Stonefields lvl 45 – 140, Wolves, Lvl 1 – 45, Shoveltusk Lvl 45 – 65, Boars (Stonefield) Lvl 75 – 100.
Each would only need 1 kill per level. So get more RIFT Plat will help you more in killing.

Foraging
Foraging is the gathering profession that involves the collection of diverse Plants and sorts of Wood found throughout Telara. Foraging is especially useful for the Apothecary
Profession, but is also helpful for Artificing and Weaponsmithing.
The Skilled Forager profession grade is required.

Mining
Mining is a gathering profession which allows the player to collect minerals and various gems from the world of Telara. The player will not be required to purchase or craft a Mining pick.
Notes
Ore can stack up to 50; you don’t need spend your RIFT Gold to purchase tools to mine
Use Forge to smelt Ore into Bar’s Tin Lode, Tin Ore
Fieldstone – a container, use to reveal a precious stone
Moonstone
Sunstone
Copper Lode
Copper Ore
Beryl – a container, use to reveal a precious stone
Radiant Emerald
